I hate that I’m starting to like Thor Ragnarok 🥲🥲🥲

Thor Ragnarok truthfully treats 2 of my favorite MCU characters like clowns (Hulk and The Grandmaster). It also completely destroys the possibility of ever doing an MCU Planet Hulk movie, one of my top 3 favorite Marvel stories of all time. That being said. I’ve began to like parts of the movie.

I like how personal the story is to Thor, Loki, and Valk. I think that the way they need to accept the faults of their nations past and literally destroy the land that represents their failures is extremely symbolic. Yet, I feel the movies is a comedic train reck, it hard to take the threat of Thor’s whole homeworld being destroyed seriously when every other second a character who should seemingly be extremely distressed animorphs into the movies new circus clown on screen in front of our eyes.

Ragnarok, to me, I’d like that type of food you used to hate but grew to enjoy. I’ve thrown up eating it too many times to not remember those experiences when I eat it and because of that I’ll always have a negative perception associated with it, but when I do eat it now I can enjoy it for what it is.

Not gonna do a full review because I’m at work right now, sorry. I’d also not prefer to watch this movie before Love and Thunder comes of because it’s also based on one of my top 3 marvel stories of all time (which is worrisome to me). So I’d rather not risk it and just leave my palate clean, as to not pre-ruin that movie for myself on accident.

That’s all, lots of love, remember to always hold down when you’re in a pickle.
