Session Four: Run

The Session starts with Six, Anne, and Spicy running into the garage telling Fant and Grif they need to leave immediately before the Mandalorians find them. Fant agrees, grabbing his things and running into The Onslaught. Grif prepares to leave but his Uncle yells reminding him that they still need a vendor so they can start on the large backlog of work the Garage is contracted to do already. Spicy tells the Group that he’s going to stay behind to help in the garage and the Group tries to take off. The Onslaught momentarily lifts off the ground then falls back to the ground, their out of fuel. Grif quickly gets the Garage droids to start fueling it with the limited amount that they have and Fant begins opening the Garage so they can leave immediately after they have enough fuel to get out of orbit. While the droids are fueling the Group discusses where they should go Grif asks if they could stop at Dantooine to see what the status of their vendor is, the group agrees. They take off. On the way to Dantooine Six gets a message from Isaac, the member of the Sun-Tuul Pride that kidnapped them, that they need to talk and that Isaac has information that Six will want, he tells him to meet at a bar called the Golden Queen on Dorin.

The Group land on Dantooine. Grif asks Six and Fant to stay in the Ship while he talks to Talis, his normal seller. Talis and Grif talk and Talis mentions he hasn’t seen Grif or his dad in awhile, Grif tells Talis that his father has gone missing and is presumed dead, and that he’s come to see Talis because the Garage has run out of supplies because his dad never came back with a shipment they were supposed to get. Talis says he can prepare a half shipment for them and gives it to him on the house, but he also swears that he recently saw Grif’s Dad’s ship parked at The Bloody Maw, a Dathomirian restaurant the 3 of them are regulars at. Grif thanks Talis and opens The Onslaught so that Talis’s droids can load the shipment.

Fant reminisces on his early life living with his Master Sifo Dyas and his ‘aid’ Master Lene Kostana who acted as his parents. Fant opens up a journal of all the notes Syfo had sent to him when he would be away for a long amount of time on missions Fant could not be present for. He reads his birthday letters and so on but has one letter which he has never opened from his old master, the one he sent the day he died.

Grif asks Six and Fant if they wouldn’t mind grabbing some food at The Bloody Maw so he can check to see if there are any leads on where his father might be there. They both say that’s fine and they drive Fants Speeder to the restaurant. Fant and Six grab a table as Grif investigates outside. Fant gets the Salad with Nightsister Vinaigrette and Sith Fried Blackened to the Bone Chirodactyl wings with a Brula Fruit Black Icor to drink. Six buys the most expensive item on the menu, the 1576 oz Gold encrusted Bantha Steak which has been Dry Aged with a Bleeding Gut, Fire Lichen, and Hydraatis rub and basted in Bane Back Spider Marrow before the gold encrusting on top it also comes with a complementary Grilled Burra Fish on the side. Six also ordered 3 bottles of Dathomirian wine.

Outside Grif finds his fathers ship dusty and forgotten. He types in the code to enter and the doors open with 3 beeps, Grif finds the lost shipment in the back and determines his dad must have never made it off Dantooine in this ship, which contradicts the Imperial notice of death in which said they found the ship abandoned in space. Grif tries to get some information from the computer system but only determines that his dad made plans to meet with someone else on Dantooine at The Bloody Maw, but he can’t remember or find any evidence of the person he was supposed to meet. Grif walks into the Restaurant and is greeted like a regular, all the servers and guests know him. He sits down and says hello to the server Agony and orders his regular. Fried Chirodactyl Chunks and a Rancor Blood Stew with Fungal Snake Soda. As the group are eating at the table they decide that Grif will take his fathers ship and both Shipments of material for the garage back to the Garage and Six and Fant will go to Dorin to talk to Isaac.

When they’re finished eating, Six tries to help Grif by slicing into his dad’s ship’s camera system to see if he can find anything. He sees Grif’s dad with a Golden and Copperish skin Zabrak with a small Imperial Crest in his back pocket. With the exchange of that information they both take off, but not before Six-Ten places a hidden tracker within Grifs ship. Six and Fant head on their way to Dorin and Grif heads back to the Garage on Kinyen. I ask the Players of Six and Fant to leave the house while Grif’s Player and I play this next section.

Grif flies away from Dantooine and continues to hear the beeping in the back of the ship. After some investigation he finds Six’s tracker and disables it, thinking it was someone trying to track his father months ago. He goes back to the controls and realizes he’s being accosted by some Imperial ships. Grif makes a break for it trying to get to the HyperSpace Lane before they’re able to draw him in with their large corvettes tractor beam but isn’t able to make it out in time. The Ship is drawn into the corvette, he exits and sees many Lavatroopers with their weapons drawn at him and the ISB Agent wearing all black that they saw on Muunilist. Grif gets arrested for illegal trade and illegal speeder modification and is brought to the ISB Special Operations Prison and interigation planet Eros. I ask the Player of Grif to leave the house while Fant and Six’s Player’s comeback and play this next section.

Six and Fant land on Dorin outside the Golden Queen during a hellish rainstorm, Six tells Fant about the Tracker that he put in Grif’s Ship, he tells him he did it because he feels Grif’s been acting weird since their adventure on Moncow. They rush into the Bar and see a retro futuristic group of droids and servers. Six walks up and sits with Isaac and Fant scouts them from afar making sure nothing happens. Six asks Isaac why he would kidnap him then be so willing to give him information and asks why he should trust Isaac at all. Isaac looks thin as a rail and tells Six that when he took the job he didn’t fully understand it and that if he had the information he did now he never would have signed on.

As Six and Isaac speak, Fant is reminded of temporarily growing up on Dorin with the Baron Do Sages when he was much younger. He lived and trained with them while his Jedi Master Sifo Dyas and Master Lene Kostana would go on more dangerous missions that Fant couldn’t be a part of. Fant thinks back to how strange the pair of them were. Two people attuned with very rare parts of The Force, Syfo being a precognizant and having visions from the force about the future and Fant being a natural molder of The Force.

Isaac tells Six that the Sun-Tuul were being used by the Empire to get him and kill or turn him in, he tells Six that the Imperials who paid the Sun-Tuul are the same that have bounties out for him and that they’re trying to cover up something called the Arc Hammer Project which he believes is their base of operations. Six asks for the names of the people behind the project and Isaac tells him he knows General Rom Morc, who Six remembers as a high commanding field medic, and Captain Nonam.

Then Suddenly a figure that no-one sees shoots Isaac, Six immediately tends to his wounds instead of going after the attacker and is able to save his life. Fant rushes out the Bar but can’t see the assailant through the rain which hurts Fants skin. Six and Fant quickly rush Isaac into The Onslaught to escape in case there are any more attackers, they stabilize Isaac, fly out of Dorin’s orbit, and decide to check the Tracker.

The Tracker has been destroyed. Fant believes that Grif is trying to escape them but Six thinks he’s been captured, they argue but eventually settle on investigating the last location it transmitted and using The Force to try to find out where he is. The Player of Grif returns

When they get to the location, Fant takes on a lot of strain to amplify his ability in The Force and is able to create an open vision between him and Grif. Grif tells Fant that he’s on a prison planet called Eros and that he saw Duran get killed by the Lava Troopers who patrol this planet. Grif also tells Fant that the ISB agent that they saw on Muunilist is the one that arrested him.

Six tries to speak to Fant but he realizes that he’s stuck in the open channel and cannot hear or see Six. Six walks around The Onslaught and sees a being standing outside in open space without any protective gear. He uses Fant’s Speeder to investigate the Being. He walks out to the asteroid and sees a red skinned reptilian being who’s wearing a Red and Black Cloak with many prayer beads and ritualist symbols adorning the beings clothing. The Being turns to Six-Ten staring at him. Six sees the Being wearing a mask of an animal bone with red war paint adorning the large mask.

The two stare at each other, unable to speak in the soundless emptiness of space to each other. Six-Ten brings out a piece of paper and writes ‘Who Are You?” the Being begins to write and takes a moment to think then hands it back to Six-Ten it reads “My name is Tang, I am of the eternal order of the moons, I will be seeing you and your allies again soon, goodbye.” and had a Symbol with a crescent moon with two slitted eyes. The being walks backward and disappears with fast flashing after images of their body as they float backwards at rapid speed.

Confused by this, Six keeps the paper and drives back into the ship with Fant’s Speeder. When he gets back he sees Fant has been broken out of his trance and he explains to Six that Grif was in fact captured by the ISB Special Operations Division and that he’s being held in prison on a planet named Eros. When Six punches in the coordinates to Eros he sees that it was once a droid factory and that it has a very volcanic atmosphere, realizing it will be dangerous to go try to rescue him, but not wanting to abandon their new friend they give it no second thought and race to Eros.

When they arrive they see that the planet has blasted and broken ground and debate how they should approach landing. While they speak they’re barely able to get out of a large attack that came from the surface. The Blast is gigantic, much larger than the Diameter of the Onslaught and could have fully enveloped them. They’re able to nimbolly hide behind some asteroids making it seem like The Onslaught was destroyed along with the asteroid. With new cover they decide that now is the time to land on the Planet stealthily. As they get into Eros’s upper atmosphere they begin to talk about how they’re going to accomplish this mission at all.

And that’s the End of Session Four.
