Session Three: A Tale of Goodbyes

The session starts returning to Grif, inside the personal quarters on the top floor of The Onslaught, flipping through the decrepit journal looking for anything written in Galactic Common after the book stopped translating for him. After flipping many sections of the book he finds some ornate and professional cursive handwriting which accompany drawings and detailed analysis of the inner workings of many of the species that inhabit the known galaxy. As Grif continues to read he doesn’t notice the twisted tendril of the dark side gaining a better hold on his subconscious. Grif finds that this writer addresses their own name Karrek Jonex; it is also oblivious to Grif that he wrote a large majority of the entries in this section of the journal.

Six-Ten breaks up both Grif and Ambassador Fant’s alone time calling them all to the bridge. Six-Ten informs them that they are only a few short minutes away from reaching their destination on Scipio but asks them once again whether or not they feel safe interacting with a Jedi, who are being hunted down by the empire, to sell the Holocron. Gritan speaks up stating that if they have plans on sticking together they should all know who each of them are and what they’re capable of. Six starts off explaining what they already know, that he was a clone member of the 501st and was shot in the head weeks before the Clone War ended. He explains that would’ve been the end of his story but he remembers waking up for small moments and feeling parts of his body missing until one day a few years ago he was on a transport ship going from one facility to another and was able to wake up and escape whoever his captors were. He knows now that he’s over 70% mechanical. Grif goes next stating that he’s just a mechanic and does a lot of illegal racing modifications and that he is well known in the criminal underground. Lastly Ambassador Fant reveals he’s a Force Sensitive but not a Jedi and says that he plans to keep the Holocron for safe keeping.

Suddenly while they’re having this conversation they hear a loud clang and drilling noises coming from the back of the ship. Grif goes to the guns, Fant goes to the back, and Six checks the rear cameras realizing that a Mandalorian ship with the Saxon Clan colors has shot two buzz droids at The Onslaught and is positioning itself to do another abrasive attack. Six uses the power of the ship to shock and deactivate the Buzz droids but unintentionally strips all power from the gunnery making it impossible for Grif to attack the ship. Fant tries to use The Force to distract the pilot of the enemy ship and is able to cause the enemy to both give up their advantageous position and crash into an incoming asteroid causing significant damage. Six is able to maneuver The Onslaught and regain the auxiliary power so Grif has a clear shot against the Enemy but he only hits once. The Enemy ship starts to flee seemingly trying to escape then land on Scipio and the Group debates continuing the attack but decides that if they continue to fight they might draw the attention of some troops stationed on Scipio.

As they enter Scipio’s atmosphere they decide to land at Fants home, realizing that he has a large mansion like home on the Ice world of the Banking Clan. As they approach his home they see an old clone wars era republic ship docked at Fants home and decide to land in Ambassador Fants smaller garage which is hidden within the mountain. Fant asks Grif and Six not to come up and investigate the landed ship but to leave that to him, he tells them to get his speeder into The Onslaught then to stay on the lower levels of the house.

Gritan uses the elevator to go up to the main floor of his home. As he rises he realizes that this might be the last time he’ll be in his old home if. The doors open with a woosh and he sees his secretary Bar’baira is sitting on her desk located within the living room of his home. She tells him that his 5 o’clock is waiting for him in his office. He tells her he’ll be another quick moment and changes into one of his better outfits, which hides his lightsaber within its ornate jewelry. As he’s walks towards his office he asks Bar’baira to remind him who he had a meeting scheduled with. She reminds him that he had made plans to speak with the Representative of Chandrilla, Mon Mothma.

Fant sits and speaks to Mon Mothma and she warns Fant of an Imperial blockade that might happen on Scipio and Muunilist in a similar fashion to the one that is currently occurring on Lothal. She also makes sure that Fant and her are allied so that they can try to stop the blockades politically in the senate for the good of their people if they are required to. Mon Mothma then departs and Fant sends Bar’baira home. Fant grabs the limited amount of his remaining things from his home and inspects the empty home which he’s lived in since the death of his Jedi Master so long ago. Fant closes his patio door, grabs his single bag and enters the elevator to return to Six and Grif. Six and Grif are in a gym/obstacle course as Fant returns to them. Six has gotten to the end of it but Grif has failed. Fant begins his try on the course and missteps almost falling on the last jump but is helped up by Six, the two share a moment of comradery.

The group decide to make a quick trip to Muunilist to go to the shops and pick up Fants’ other ship. While on Muunilist they walk by Fants office and see it’s been Graffitied by some Mandalorian Symbols. They continue to walk and come across Sheryl’s office, they see ISB agents and vehicles surrounding the Office, Fant quickly gets Six and Grif to hide in an alleyway as an ISB agent wearing an all black suit approaches Fant. The Agent says he works for the ISB special operations division and they will be taking Sheryl in due to reports of dissidence with proof of her working with the Sun-Tuul pride. The Agent tells Fant that they will need to speak at some point and that they’ll find him when that time comes.

Grif notices a lightspeed racer that he usually works with, Skip ‘Lightspeed’ Treyvon but decides not to interrupt him and instead decides to start shopping with Six. They spend a good amount of time buying things with Fant’s money and then decide to go back to Grif’s garage with The Onslaught which has Fant’s speeder within it and Fants small political ship that he used to get from planet to planet. When they return Grif begins taking out the holding cells out of The Onslaught to convert that level of the ship into a place to permanently hold Fant’s Speeder, he also works on making an escape hatch so that they can exit The Onslaught in the Speeder with haste if need be. He also finds an Imperial grade tracker in Anne the Droid, he takes it out and destroys it. Fant learns more about Master Ooroo and that the Jedi Praxeum was a large jedi archive that Ooroo himself was in charge of building with his Padawan Udan-Urr after the building of the Praxeum Ooroo perished but Udan-Urr continued to build museums and archived on Ossus in memory of his master.

Six, Spicy, and Anne are sitting outside on the grass, Six looks at Anne, his droid, and activates her. Suddenly Anne pulls up her blasters. Startled Six gets ready for a fight but Spicy pulls on her arm asking him to look behind him at what Anne is actually pointing at. Six see’s five Mandalorian crafts with the Saxon colors flying right above them.

And that’s the End of Session Three
